How to use it?
According to google,"Google Latitude is available on the following mobile devices wherever Google Maps for mobile v3.0 and above is supported". To know if your phone is supported goto http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?answer=136640
You can also use this service from your PC, you can manually set your location and view your friends location and the status messages.
Why to use it?
This is a cool feature if you have it on your phone, your location is updated automatically whereever you go or you can set it manually. You can choose whether to share your location or not. This can prove helpful for parents to keep track of there children and can help police also. Well, maybe im thinking too far but who knows.
